A dirt bike rider caused havoc on an Upstate New York recreational trail Monday, speeding the wrong way, fleeing deputies in both directions and eventually ditching the bike for a run through a field, police said.The trouble began Monday evening, when the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about a dirt bike being ridden on the Heritage Trail in Goshen, where motorized vehicles are prohibited.
